VCDS doesn’t work properly on newer Audis
Hoping this is the right place to put this. If not, mods, could you move it please?
I have a VCDS HEX+CAN for many years and it still works fine on my D2 S8 and my 2008 TTS. But recently, I’ve tried it on a more recent TT and a ‘22 A4. It connects and scans but I don’t get much information and it ...

Re: Shudder from the gearbox?
Another update on this. I recently replaced on of the ‘bellows’ on the intake manifold and, not only has the fault code for the secondary air injection system gone away, so has this judder! The S8 is again running like a dream

Wheel replacement tool
Well, my plastic tool that came with the car (and with the TTS) is pretty knackered, so I've replaced it with this: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/186948574439.
I can confirm that it fits well and appears to be very well made.

Re: Headlight washer pump and Viscous fan coupling
I’m wondering if, as I’m replacing the headlight washer pump (plus seals and connector) and the viscous fan coupling/clutch, should I also replace the screen washer pump (and seals and connector) as a precaution? If so, can you gurus let me have part numbers again?

Headlight washer pump and Viscous fan coupling
Can anyone find these part numbers for me please? My S8 is booked in for a timing belt etc and I thought I’d get these done while the front of the car is off. Thanks.

Re: Cam belt kit recommendation please
I ordered one from a French company who said this kit wasn’t compatible, but MJ, Mike and Dean all say it is!
