I purchased one £30 adjuster off ebay for my 2.8 and as per MJ's advice took off the gauze filter and... the car is running and driving to this day.
I also bought a rather expensive £160 one off autodoc, compared them both and found no differences at all.

I have had a set of reflectors of your type 're-silvered' in Poland for i think £90.
The really cool thing about halogens and xenons like yours is that they have the toggle to switch the beam to european roads. X+ do not, they are terrible headlights after 25+ years anyway

How much fuel do you have in the car at the moment? try adding more so that level is over half the tank and see if it starts.
