Yes! Perfectly :D

It feels like quite the achievement at this point
Excellent, well done :D

That's one critical part solved then. Fuel pump next...

Re: Huh??

Its a solenoid valve. The mount has an air-filled void inside it. With the valve open, the engine is supported solely by the rubber, but with the valve closed it then also has an air spring enclosed in the rubber thus increasing its effective stiffness. A simple way to make variable strength engine ...

Re: Wipers

E22 is the main wiper stalk, very poorly described. The little lever on top is all the way back on P17, current track 203 with the trip computer switches. That connects to J31 on track 443 (labelled 'POT' for potentiometer).

Re: Wipers

The 5th wire could be anything, a 3rd speed, alternative park position, etc. No way to know without taking it apart since it isn't used on the D2. Probably it was useful on whatever model this motor was designed for originally.

Re: Wipers

Does the mechanism definitely move? Did you test the motor before refitting to the mechanism?

Re: Wipers

I was just going to use an angle grinder to cut them down :D Good point about the threads - they don't go down far enough so will need extending. Simple enough with an M6 tap.

Re: Wipers

The bosses are longer relative to the spindle. The geometry of the spindle relative to everything else appears to be the same. With the longer bosses, I don't think the motor will clear the bodywork, and the arm on the motor likely won't clear the mechanism.
