Now over 25 years old the S8 is probably classified as a Classic. From Go Meercat Supermarket I'm getting £250 is fully comp for 5k annually for a 67YO with two claims and an SP30.

As ever it will depend heavily on where you are and where the car is kept.
I paid similar to that last year, newer car under 25, Home Counties, parked on driveway, 77YO licence clean.
BUT renewal went up a LOT this year so I switched to SAGA which were about 10% cheaper.
Eventually we discovered that despite me giving TOTALLY CORRECT details they had (software bug) calculated premiums based on it being several years older, so maybe the "Classic" over 25yo is a factor? Anyway they have corrected the records, honoured the original price and guaranteed to be the same next year too.
