Have I jinxed myself?

Hopes and dreams go in, witchcraft happens, misery and error codes come out. Unless you have a manual then all is well with the world

I think I need a gearbox flush
Bear in mind the gearbox was in good order when MJ worked her magic on the car when reincarnating it.

If it wasn't for MJ there is no way I would consider still having a D2.
I was referring to myself, not the car lol. My gearbox seems to be in good nick other than this brake on in drive thing, which having driven it today again I feel far less concerned about. It isn't misbehaving whilst driving whatsoever. Keeping an eye on it, but will probs get the flush done just for the sake of good maintenance. Plus the fact that you saw a difference in performance makes it feel like I might reap gratification from the outlay :D

Fix the auto if it ever needs it.

The clutch pedal is obviously entirely custom and requires extensive fabrication. It is wise to be intimidated by it tbh - I've tried two solutions so far and neither are 100% satisfactory. Mine is acceptable to me, but I wouldn't replicate it for someone else.

And there it is. If you're using words like 'acceptable' with your knowledge and skills, MJ.... I ain't touching it

My clutch pedal solution shall be-

1. Move to continent.
2. Buy a manual.

Sounds far more straight forward
