Headlight ballast control unit.

Headlight ballast control unit.

Hi all
Just a quick question. Do these headlight ballast units need programming? I.e if I bought a second hand unit say from a TT, same part number, would it need any programming to work on an S8 D2?

I've never seen anything that suggests components like that need programming or coding in any way on a D2, just swap them over. But I could be wrong....
