They didn't even get that far! They had it for 2 hours and then tried to tell me it'd be another £250 because the track rod end nuts were ceased. My response, after observing said bolts with the mechanic was..... do you not have WD40?
To his credit, he did say that he didn't want to melt to the boots. So kudos to him for that. I'll make sure everything is super sweet before it goes back but honestly it really wasn't bad. I could tell they hadn't even tried to turn them. They're a proper try it garage but they're the only place here with 4 wheel tracking so I've got to deal with them. Best they didn't have a go at it tbh because they just get the gas axe out and melt everything.
If you do get the nuts cracked loose, make sure the tie rods also turn.
