Sad day 😭

So I finally got around to having a look at my blue FE seen as the black one has minor things left to do. I took off the passenger front wheel as it was moving free and found this. Literal cracks in the chassis. Does anyone have any idea if it would be worth getting it sorted or how I would go about doing it?? If not then I will have to break it and possibly get the black shell I got off mikkijayne back on the road. What do you guys think??

That's dead I'm afraid

Its in to the wheel well, firewall / bulkhead and possibly damage to the spaceframe.
Technically... it may be possible to pick apart a donor shell and take out the sections to then weld back in to the FE, but you'd need to get it on a body jig first to make sure it is still straight. If it was, yYou would be in to many of hundreds of hours of yoda-level aluminium bodywork specialist time to stitch it back together properly and retain any sort of structural integrity. That would be several times the value of the car.
Reshell it in to the black one is your best bet. Make a one of one Morning Dew on Black FE

I knew that was going to be the end of it when I seen the cracks but thought it's always worth asking.
One thing I am curious about is, the part number on uprights on the blue one ended T but the ones on my black ended M?? It's got me confused

M is the original fitted from the factory, T is the last part revision for them, so the uprights on the blue car have been replaced at some point. The black one is still on the factory parts.

Ahh I see. Im hoping to get the black shell in to get fully repainted in the coming months and then literally swap everything over and get that back on the road.
It will definitely be 1of1 then

Curious, what is it that has caused this. Old crash damage?

That was the crash I had last year. I was hoping to get the car straight back on the road but didn't manage to get around to looking at it until few weeks ago.
