My 2.8

Just a short post to show my now ex 2.8
Purchased in 2019 for £650, it was a really run down and chavved-up example, timing belt overdue by a decade, rusty brakes, water leak in interior, rear springs snapped, all kind of shitty mods like wind deflectors, chinese alloys with wrong size tyres, painted engine bay plastic, front headlights covered some stupid film, lots of bodged repairs, No AC.. the list goes on:
It was a 2.8 in sport, so red shocks, black leather interior, 3 spoke steering wheel with mold and mushrooms growing in the interior.
5 years later, it became this:
All the maintenance brought up to date.
Retrofits:
Heated MFSW
Twin pane windows
Radio controlled clock
Comfort seats
Passenger seat memory
Rear heated seats
Android head unit + 5 channel aftermarket amp
Diesel sound proofing ( bonnet seals, shaft covers, gearbox undertray, engine undertray, coolant tank cover)
Cup holder
Relocated ESP button
Flat boot covers on both sides
Prefacelift carpet - its thicker = better sound proofing
Extra sound deadening mats installed throughout.
The general idea was to keep the car oem+ and looking as stock as possible.
What the car looks like now:
