Rear Passenger Overhead Lights

Hello all
My rear overhead lights seem to be getting confused. They previously worked fine but one bulb was out. I replaced the bulb but now the cluster won't come on when doors are opened - like the front cluster - but will light when the front cluster is switched to 'on'. Have I got rogue wiring?
Thanks
Gary

I and I think others have posted about this "elsewhere". A common cause is dry solder joints inside the rear central unit.
Take it part and resolder any obvious issues on the small circuit board inside.

I'm clearly not to good at searches! Thank you. Am I correct in saying the unit is prised out with a screw driver?

I don't honestly remember, might only need fingers and not a lot of force, but I think one long edge is easier than the other.
Just prise it gently and it should be fairly obvious.
Edit: Just looked at mine and the rear edge pulled down using just the tips of my fingers, no tools needed!

No joy unfortunately. I got the cluster out and took out all the connector bars. I cleaned up the terminals as well as the circuit board. No change. Oddly, when I pushed the cluster back into the roof opening, the lights came on correctly once! Unfortunately I couldn't get this to reoccur permanently.
Might it be worth digging around in the front cluster panel? I did have a problem with water getting behind the roof lining where I used to park up hill. I would drive off and when I braked water would pour out onto the centre console - water even sat in the front vanity lights!

But did you resolder the contacts on the circuit board?
That behaviour (sometimes it works, sometimes doesn't) is typical of dry solder joints - tiny movements make a difference.
