Thanks. Yeah I found the correct replacement it's the exact same one. Only $13 for 2 pcs so will have a spare. I used that spec shet when measuring and it looks like the coil is broken since im getting open loop on what I think are the coil pins. I wasn't entirely sure I was messing at the correct pins but since I know where the input from the switch is I should be able to just check for continuity there to find out for sure which are the coil pins. Will do this tomorrow but I'm fairly certain the coil is showing open loop not 400 ohm so it is lost likely broken.HPsauce wrote: Fri Jul 24, 2026 11:09 pm This is the datasheet for that relay. It might give some ideas on testing AND a specification for a replacement.

Re: 2002 A8L W12 restoration
Managed to find a used W12 grille for sale. Mine was missing a few of the metal pieces. The used one was only missing 2 and had a much cleaner W12 badge so I stole 2 from my oringal grille and used epoxy to transfer them. An interesting note is that even row nr 4 and 5 look similar they differ slightly. I first took the metal bits from another row but the fitment was slightly off.
Fortunately now I have lots of spares Incase any others go missing.
