Alternator for 2002 D2 S8

So, my replacement alternator has arrived (thanks for the link to the supplier, Mike) but I need to call them with the part number to check it’s the right one before I have it fitted.

Can anyone oblige please?

From what I can see you should have a 150a Bosh alternator.
Looks like all these part numbers should work.

Thanks for the replies. I already have the replacement alternator but I need the original Audi part number to double check before I fit it. The VIN is WAUZZZ4D63N001186

Yep I looked now as far as I can see those numbers are the ones. Does that match you alternator. Also just curious is yours an Audi exclusive spec?

My S8 is a ‘final edition’ (UK only I think) not an exclusive

077 903 015K is for the S8. 077 903 015P is also compatible.

059 is a diesel, 078 is V6. Many sellers will claim the V8 and V6 are the same but this is incorrect.

Ah, that looks more like an Audi part number. Thanks Michaela.

Although my web/AI search thew up the same numbers as Fredde.

I’ll give the supplier a call today to confirm that I’ve got the right part
