The saga of me selling my S8 has gotten very complex. After withdrawing the add and running around in the car as my daily driver for a while, the gearbox started playing up. Luckily it didn't sell quickly otherwise that would have been incredible bad luck for the new owner and reputationally damaging for me.

I won't polute this thread with the details, I'll add more info in the gearbox section when I get chance.

I am though planning to get the car fixed. Not sure what route to take yet as mackies are quoting in the 6k range.

I really, really want to have a go at it myself.

The silver lining is that during this "no driving it period" I have realised how much I would miss it. So at the moment I am collecting parts.
