Sagging Headligning

Post by Lancia 2000 »

Hello all
Does anyone have any tips for refixing sagging headlinings? I previously had a Rover 75 and it was rumoured that the glue could be 'reactivated' with water, heat or both! Is there a solution?
Thanks
Gary

Replace or reupholster. The glue is fine - its the foam between the fabric and the backing board which has failed. That must be mechanically removed and new fabric fitted.

Or use the screw-in buttons and don't look up :D
