The latest development from Ronin Labs™

a B&Q soil pipe turned into a D2 strut rust and paint stripper, works pretty well:

After 2 coats of Halfords' finest metal oxide primer.
Clear coat next and after that translucent heat shrink as an experiment. These struts have 60k miles less on them than my car so are worth the effort.
