No. Thankfully, the fuel pump is sweet. The problem was that I'd neglected to put the o ring back in the top of the sender unit after it had fell out upon fitting the new pump. The fun part was that I only saw it was on the floor of the boot as I pulled the housing out again with a totally full tank. There was swearing.
Only job left now is to get the rear under tray off and pop out one of the parking sensors, then she's off for MOT.
I'm still trying to figure a way to keep hold, but I've told myself just set a price and if she doesn't go, it wasn't meant to be, and she stays with me. They seem to be getting semi reasonable money atm so who knows
