Fuel pump refurb part numbers

Here are the parts required to fully refurb a D2 fuel pump for the 2.8, 3.7 and 4.2 models

To refurb one pump assembly you will need:

2x 8x11.5 crush washers for banjo fitting
1x 2.5mm Section 69mm Bore NITRILE o-ring.
1x 2mm Section 110mm Bore NITRILE o-ring.
1x 1.5mm Section 9mm Bore NITRILE o-ring.
1x 1.5mm Section 20mm Bore NITRILE o-ring.
1x 405-052-002-001Z - Genuine VDO/Continental fuel pump
1x 441201511C fuel filter
2x 12x1.5(id x thickness) crush washers for fuel filter banjo fitting, audi part number n0138128
2x 14x1.5 (id x thickness) crush washers for fuel filter banjo fitting, audi part number n0138149

If anybody is doing a housing rebuild, let me know. I had to over order my o-rings, so I've got spares that you're welcome to. Just ping your address and I'll post them. Slight difference in the fact my big ones are 2x112, but they fit fine.

Not if you live in UK. American fuel 'yellow's' that top part of the fuel pump housing and makes it very brittle/crack so they started to make their own. UK cars are not affected by this...

BUT, seeing as fuel pumps and other things are being discontinued or NLA.. I wouldn't mind having one on the shelf if you have some money to burn as its quite a critical part of the car.
