Boot gas struts

Post by HPsauce »

I'm sure there's some information about this on "the other resource" but its down at present, so....
My boot is getting heavier to open, though it will stay up if fully lifted, so I think one strut is failing at least.
Does anyone have a known source/specification for these and are they different to the bonnet?
Also any tips/techniques on the process to swap over would be very much appreciated. 8-)

febi 31678 £25 a piece from autodoc. you just need a flat blade screw driver to replace them, takes 30s per side.
