Also, If I've got to go down to a 019, the best CCA/Ah I can find is on an Exide. Yea or nay?

000915105DK is the 95AH/450A battery commonly known as 019
000915105DL is the 110AH/520A battery for cars with heated front screen, commonly known as 020. If you want to use a different size, you will also need the correct retaining plate:

Ah, fantastic. I think I have a retaining plate from a heated ws car as luck would have it. I take it the battery trays are the same then?

I'm only really asking in the first instance as there's Varta and Bosch at decent money available in an 020 with 920cca/110Ah.

019 is the biggest that will fit in the stock tray. The 020 needs a different tray as well as bracketry and trim and other things made of unobtanium.

Stick with the 019. Have a look at Tayna.co.uk for (usually) the best prices.

Oh no! It was Tayna I was looking at

I'll have another scour. Whats the least cca I can get away with? Because I'm 90% sure the battery that's was in it under-spec'd.

Also, as I have conflicting reports, and no experience of such things, is EFB/AGM ok to use?
